It's a good holiday course in a valley surrounded by hills and lush vegetation.

Away from the greens and fairways, if you want to explore the area's more traditional aspects, the mountain 'pueblos' (villages) of Casares, Istan and Ojen offer a complete contrast to cosmopolitan Marbella and the other coastal resort towns.
